International Test Technologies was formed in 1992. By the time ASSET InterTech acquired International Test Technologies in December 2007 it was recognised as the world leader in manufacturing test and hardware debug solutions for processor-based boards. ASSET InterTech sees CPU Emulation as an important addition to its increasing range of Embedded Instrumentation solutions. MicroMaster will therefore continue to be developed as actively as when under the previous management.
The MicroMaster product range (formerly known as µMaster) is designed primarily for medium to high volume board test and repair. High levels of automation de-skill and speed up the diagnostic process. Database logging of faults, together with built-in statistical analysis tools are useful in design failure analysis and also field returns repair filtering.
While MicroMaster operation is highly automated, we realize that some of our customers want to be able to customize our solutions. For this reason we have implemented a simple test scripting language, and we also provide access to all our low level test commands.
MicroMaster is a very open system that is easily integrated with other 3rd-party solutions. This approach ensures that our customers have the freedom to work autonomously if they wish. We can of course provide a full test-programming service but customers are not compelled to use this service. MicroMaster's openness also ensures its long-term viability - an important consideration in any investment choice.
