Arcom Controls

Arcom uses a variety of production test platform designs depending on the number of I/O connectors, the size of each production batch and the compexity of the product design.

Glen Middleton, Managing Director of Arcom explained, "To meet our objective of significantly reducing the production test time for several new high volume products we decided to use the MicroMaster test platform. As an added benefit, by using the library of MicroMaster software components, our Test Development Team also reduced the time to create the production-ready test systems".

MicroMaster also improves fault diagnosis and repair. "We now use MicroMaster to test the product processor architecture at a low level and can diagnose pin level failures without resorting to guessing and indiscriminate part replacement", added Glen Middleton.
