Self-Help Training Resources

In addition to training courses, there are a number of self-help training resources. These include the following items:

• Set-up Guide – this printed leaflet is provided with all MicroMaster systems. It includes a packaging list with illustrations of the components. It explains how to assemble the hardware and install the software.
  
• Getting Started Guide – this Adobe® Acrobat® document is installed at the same time as the MicroMaster software. A link to this document is added into the Windows® Start Menu. It provides an introduction to using the MicroMaster features, and also gives details of required debug port connections to different processor types. It also lists all MicroMaster DLL functions that can be called from other programming languages.
  
• Help file – the Help in MicroMaster is very extensive. It includes a description of all TSL/1 scripting language calls, including their syntax.
  
• The Tutorial within the MicroMaster interface is part of the Help file. It guides new users through the help file in a logical order and also provides additional explanations.
  
• Application notes – these give in-depth information on a number of useful topics, as follows:

• Web-based resources – the website is set up as an educational tool. It contains a fully illustrated overview of MicroMaster components and applications. There is also an in-depth description of MicroMaster’s features, and how it is connected to a board under test. Additional resources include:
